Heading Home

Katie and I are heading back to Lubbock tomorrow. We have really enjoyed our time out here, but we are very anxious to get back and begin our “real life.” We want to settle in, and get our apartment all set up. We will begin taking some correspondence courses soon after we get back, and that will be great too.

On the way to Lubbock we’re going to stop and take some time at the Grand Canyon. Katie has never been, and I went when I was little so I don’t remember much. We’re going to take it slow and take the trip in three days, instead of two. Tomorrow we’ll spend all day driving to Williams, Arizona. Wednesday we’ll spend a half a day or so checking out the Grand Canyon, then drive until dark and find a hotel wherever we are. We hope to arrive in Lubbock sometime in the afternoon on Thursday.

This morning we are going to the DMV to try and get Katie’s name on the car title so that we can take care of our own insurance, and we have to start packing sometime today.
